Booking

A deposit secures your place in our calendar and initiates your timeline. The design process begins with our design form and call, where we explore your vision create a detailed sketch and proof, setting the stage for production. Clients should closely follow the timeline to ensure we stay on track and avoid delays or rush fees.

Most clients hire us for all their event needs, from Save the Dates and Invitations to Rehearsal Dinner and Day-of paper. This ensures a cohesive design that elevates your visions and leaves guests inspired. Each piece follows its own design process and timeline, allowing flexibility for updates or new ideas along the way.

DESIGN

Led by Nicole, our in-house team manages every detail of your suiteā€™s design and production, from sourcing materials to final assembly. This ensures consistency and quality at every stage. Each suite is addressed, assembled, and mailed on your behalf. For clients preferring to mail personally, we can package and ship the completed suites directly to you for a fee. We do not accommodate outside artwork or client assembly. Inquire here.

Our process is entirely bespoke, with every project personally overseen by Nicole to ensure quality and attention to detail. Each suite includes custom venue illustrations, hand-drawn crests or monograms, as well as other artistic touches, including a custom-shaped card, ribbon and envelope liner. We include foil or letterpress printing and can incorporate additional elements such as embossing, debossing, handmade paper, or folios to enhance the texture and design.

What's included in your process? 

Question 01

Invitations: 4-pieces - invitation card, envelope, details card and response directive card. We include process printing (1 color foil or letterpress) and key embellishments needed to complete a beautiful suite, including custom shape card, envelope liner, wax seal, ribbon, standard postage, digital guest addressing and assembly. Other embellishments, such as handmade paper, folios or vintage postage, to name a few, are available.

Saves
: 2-pieces - invitation card and envelope. We include process printing (1 color foil or letterpress), standard postage, digital guest addressing and assembly.

What's included in my suite(s)?

Our process is not conducive to a DIY mentality. Our design process is similar to a commissioned work of art, with client feedback focused on event details and adherence to the overall vision, not art directing. Other services or semi-custom lines provide ample editing or oversight, but that is not the way our studio operates.

We use a design form and call to capture your vision and solidify art direction, followed by a rough sketch and formal proof. Following up to 2 rounds of text edits and approval, we move into production. 

Changes to approved art direction could incur additional design fees.

How many rounds of edits are included?

Is there a studio minimum?

The custom process typically takes between 10-14 weeks depending on current calendar and scope of work. 

We are typically booked 9-12 months in advance, so we encourage clients to reserve their production slot should they be interested in commissioning ELS. 

How long does it take to design my suites?

ELS offers clients the option to purchase rights to the custom artwork should they be interested in using the art on items ELS is not equipped to produce. ELS is typically re-hired by clients to create day-of goods to ensure brand consistency and quality.

ELS retains copyright of all artwork created and it can be used at ELS's discretion.
