Working with Every Little Something

Clients come to Every Little Something for work they cannot find elsewhere. They hire us for our creative direction, our structured process, and our ability to manage a highly detailed custom project from beginning to end.

Every project begins from a blank page, with your vision at the center of the work. Our role is to lead the process, guide the design, and handle the details so you don't have to.

In addition to custom wedding invitations, many clients also choose to work with us on save the dates, day-of paper, and other fine paper goods for the full wedding weekend.

There are no limits to what we can create, and our custom process gives us room to explore the elevated touches we’re known for and that you see throughout our online portfolio and social feed.

Smaller projects generally start around $6,500, but because we do not offer template packages, we do not offer template pricing.

The most important part of the client’s role happens during the Discovery Phase, where we gather your vision, priorities, aesthetic preferences, and the overall feeling you want the event to communicate. That conversation becomes the foundation for the entire project.

From there, our role is to lead the creative work. Through sketch proofs and formal proofs, we make sure the project stays aligned and moving in the right direction. Our clients do not manage the artwork day to day or direct every design decision. The process is closer to commissioning a piece of fine art than building a custom product piece by piece.

If major creative changes or new directions emerge later in the process, we are always open to revisiting the work through an additional discovery conversation. Depending on the scope of the change, additional design time, production adjustments, or fees may apply.

the client's role in the design process

01 | BOOKING

We book projects 12 months in advance. When booking, we do not expect clients to have every detail or design decision figured out. The most important thing is that you connect with our aesthetic, trust our design philosophy, and feel confident in our process. Proposals include everything needed for a complete and beautiful invitation mailing. Additional upgrades and personalization are explored through our design process.

02 | DISCOVERY

We begin with a detailed conversation about your wedding, aesthetic, and overall vision for the guest experience. This phase helps us understand not only what you want the stationery to look like, but how you want it to feel. It also gives us the opportunity to explore print techniques, upgraded embellishments, and production details that may become part of the final suite.

03 | CREATIVE DIRECTION

Following discovery, we develop the full creative direction for the suite, including artwork concepts, print methods, materials, color palette, and overall composition. This is where we begin capturing the personal details, upgrades, and production elements that make the suite feel specific to your wedding and guest experience. Folios, vintage postage, boxed mailings and other upgrades get discussed and decided here.

04 | DESIGN & PROOFING

Nicole develops your custom suite through our structured design process, including sketch proofs, formal proofs, sample boxes and production planning. Every detail is considered, from layout and typography to printing technique, assembly, and guest experience. Clients then have two rounds of text-based revisions once the creative direction has been established.

05 | PRODUCTION & ASSEMBLY

Once approved, we oversee printing, fabrication, embellishments, guest addressing, and full assembly. Every piece is produced and finished in-house in partnership with our network of trusted artisans to ensure the final suite arrives fully realized and ready to send.
