At our studio, custom design isn’t about picking from a catalog or rushing toward a finished look. It’s about slowing down, listening closely, and building something thoughtful from the ground up—together. Our process is designed to give you confidence at every step, while allowing us the creative space to do what we do best.

A Process Built for Care and Clarity

It begins with a detailed design form. This is where we learn not just the logistics of your event, but the tone, feeling, and intention behind it. From there, you’ll have a one-on-one call with Nicole—a conversation that helps translate your vision into a clear creative direction.

Next comes one of our most loved steps: a hand-drawn sketch proof. This is where your suite first comes to life on paper and we align on the design direction. From there, we move into a formal digital proof, where you’ll review the final suite and make text edits before anything goes to print.

This same process is followed for Save the Dates and Day-of details, ensuring every piece—from the first announcement to the final place card—feels cohesive, intentional, and unmistakably yours.

Our proposals are not the finish line. They are simply the starting point—a way to align on scope, priorities, and key details. Once your proposal is booked with a deposit, the real work begins. That’s when we dive fully into design, refine ideas, and build your suite with depth and care. Upgrades, add-ons and completely unique details are discussed during our process to ensure that your suite fits your vision and standard.

What a Custom Suite Includes

Each invitation suite is thoughtfully designed as a complete system, not a collection of parts. A typical suite includes as the starting point – with added upgrades considered along the way:

• Four custom-designed pieces: an invitation card, envelope, details card, and response directive card
• Original artwork and a cohesive design language carried across every element
• Envelope liners and premium foil specialty process printing (letterpress, emboss and deboss available and discussed during the design call)
• Digital guest addressing, careful assembly, and white-glove handling

Every decision—from paper weight to spacing to print technique—is made with intention.
